A celebration of land, body & spirit
Where Land, Spirit & commUnity Gather
What happens when our region's farmers, foragers, herbalists, holistic practitioners, artisans, spiritual guides, and earth-minded businesses share the same gathering space? Earth & Spirit Festival is an invitation to discover exactly that.
We're bringing together the agricultural and spiritual communities through an indoor marketplace and a full day of classes, conversations, and immersive experiences. Meet local makers, learn about our natural world, explore practices that nourish body and spirit, and find new connections in our commUnity.

A gentle moment of shadow & light
Beneath a Lunar Eclipse
Our festival takes place on February 20, 2027, during a penumbral lunar eclipse. This is a gentle lunar event: the Moon moves through the lighter, outer part of Earth's shadow, causing a subtle dimming rather than the dramatic darkness of a total eclipse.
In New Albany, the Moon rises near 6:24 p.m. Eastern, during the evening's eclipse. The natural rhythm of shadow and light offers a fitting symbol for a gathering devoted to our relationships with the earth, ourselves, and one another.
The effect may be difficult to notice with the unaided eye and can be affected by weather and the Moon's position near the horizon. Learn about lunar eclipses from NASA.
The connection doesn't end at sunset
Stay Connected Beyond the Festival
We're cultivating the Earth & Spirit Networking Group, a networking community rooted in Southern Indiana, welcoming Kentucky practitioners as well, where farmers, foragers, herbalists, holistic practitioners, spiritual businesses, artisans, and neighbors can share resources, foster collaborations, and grow together.
Interested in helping that commUnity take shape? We'd love to hear from you. You do not need to join a group to attend the festival.
For now, this link opens an email to Wild Indigo. A dedicated signup form will be added when the group launches.
