Comfortable Dining for Every Guest
Disability, sensory needs, neurodivergence, medical conditions, culture, and personal history can shape how someone experiences food. Guests may request simple or separated foods, adjusted textures, ingredient information, alcohol-free choices, flexible seating, or other reasonable accommodations. Tell us what would help you dine comfortably and fully participate.
We warmly welcome vegetarian, vegan, gluten-conscious, dairy-free, halal, kosher, and specific food requests. With advance notice, many offerings can be adapted with corn tortillas, gluten-free pizza dough or pasta, bread, crackers, pastry or crust, and dessert components. Please tell us about allergies, traditions, preferences, and any specific preparation or certification requirements when ordering or booking.
Our kitchen regularly handles wheat, dairy, eggs, soy, sesame, tree nuts, peanuts, fish, and shellfish. Our kitchen and Ooni oven are shared spaces and are not dedicated gluten-free, kosher, or halal facilities. For celiac disease, severe allergies, strict religious observance, certification requirements, or cross-contact concerns, contact us in advance so we can honestly determine whether we can safely meet your needs.
When the land allows, dishes may be finished with responsibly foraged greens, edible flowers, native and medicinal plants, woodland herbs, mushrooms, berries, nuts, syrups, or garden-grown produce.

Here’s Your Chef
Your Accidental Chef-in-Training
I have never considered myself a chef. I simply found myself, from childhood onward, learning to make food beside my grandmother Jane and my mother Kimberly. Handmade food was how they showed the people in their lives that they cared, and it became how I learned to do the same.
As early as I can remember, my birthday parties were filled with food the three of us made by hand. For my sixteenth birthday, I invited my friends and their mothers to celebrate together across generations. My mother, my grandmother, my boyfriend’s mother and her daughter, and I all cooked side by side. That kitchen became a pivotal lesson in the kind of care I wanted people to feel around food.
Food is a universal love language. It can cross language barriers, class, age, and background. Feeding someone says: you matter, you deserve to feel supported, and there is a place for you at the table.
I am still learning through family recipes, cooking shows, travel, restaurants, the seasons, and everything growing around us. I may have arrived here accidentally, but every Wild Indigo table is made with intention.
