Leaves, gourds, herbs, flowers, grasses, stones, and whatever the land offers that week will shape the path, with a large full moon anchoring the center.

Harvest Full Moon Sound Bath

Once the session begins, Cat of Cat & Owl Alchemy will introduce herself and guide the Harvest Full Moon sound bath.

Slowing down may feel peaceful, emotional, activating, uncomfortable, tender, strange, spacious, or confronting. You may cough, sigh, cry, shift, feel restless, need to sit up, or simply notice your body more intensely than usual.

There is no expectation that you perform relaxation. You are welcome to move, drink water, cough, change positions, step outside, or care for your body however you need. Every guest will have bottled water and mints available during the session.

About the Sound Bath Loft

The Sound Bath Loft is a six-space Gathering-level option for guests who would genuinely enjoy the Yoga Loft if weather brings us indoors. These opt-in loft spaces are part of what helps us keep the full gathering weather-safe.

The Yoga Loft is tucked above the Library Bar. Reaching it requires climbing a library-style ladder, and the loft has limited head clearance. It is not mobility-friendly, so please choose this ticket only if you are comfortable climbing up and down independently.

If we remain outdoors, Sound Bath Loft guests settle into the outdoor sound field with everyone else.

This is far more than a sound bath. Every ticket includes the complete seasonal experience:

Seasonal attire · encouraged, never required

Come Dressed for Autumn

Wear the colors of fall. Wear leaves. Wear a floral crown. Add botanical adornment, woodland textures, or whatever the autumnal season means to you.

And yes, if your interpretation is forest fairy, we enthusiastically support your choices. 🧚🏿♀️

Weather-safe by design

If the Weather Turns

We are dreaming this as an outdoor gathering, but every ticket is being planned around what can comfortably move indoors if needed. The sound bath will shift inside during bad weather, and the fire ritual can move to the fire inside our masonry heater.

The six Sound Bath Loft tickets are specifically part of this indoor plan, allowing guests who are comfortable with the Yoga Loft ladder to opt into those spaces ahead of time.

Meet Your Hosts

Meet Your Sound Bath Guide: Cat Moeller-Cunanan

Catherine “Cat” Moeller-Cunanan is a musician, educator, sound practitioner, and founder of Cat & Owl Alchemy in New Albany, Indiana. A lifelong musician, she began playing guitar at the age of four under the guidance of her father before pursuing classical violin training. Throughout her career, she has performed in a wide range of musical settings, from symphony orchestras and chamber ensembles to electric violin and rock performances.

Cat earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Ball State University, along with two master’s degrees from Indiana University in Secondary Education and Educational Leadership. She also holds a Gifted and Talented certification from Western Kentucky University. After nearly 30 years as a public school orchestra director, she retired from education in 2025 to devote herself full-time to helping others through music and sound.

About a decade ago, Cat discovered the work of Tom Kenyon, whose integration of music, science, and healing inspired her to explore the therapeutic potential of sound. She earned professional sound-practitioner certification through the VSTA and later studied Vibroacoustic Therapy with Kate Kunkle of Costa Rica. To her knowledge, she is the only practitioner in Southern Indiana formally trained in this specialized modality.

Cat founded Cat & Owl Alchemy to create spaces where sound, intention, and commUnity come together to support relaxation, restoration, and personal well-being. She offers private sound and vibroacoustic sessions, commUnity sound baths, retreats, corporate wellness experiences, and educational programs. She currently facilitates monthly sound baths beneath the historic dome of the Parthenon in New Albany.

In addition to her healing work, Cat is expanding Cat & Owl Alchemy with the opening of Southern Indiana’s first plant-based apothecary refillery, providing environmentally conscious refill products that reduce single-use plastic while supporting healthier homes and a healthier planet.

Whether performing music, facilitating sound experiences, or educating others, Cat’s work is rooted in one guiding belief: that music has the extraordinary ability to connect, comfort, and transform lives.

Give yourself time to arrive

Arrival + Parking

Please use the full one-hour arrival window. Parking is spread across several areas of the property, and we’ll send the event-specific parking plan before the gathering so you know exactly where to go before you arrive.

Parking across the property

  • Knob N’ Wood Retreat Center lot: about 6–7 vehicles. These closest spaces are specifically reserved for guests who need additional mobility support.
  • Upper Ridge Sun Lot: about 4–5 vehicles. It is a two-minute-or-shorter walk down the knob, and shuttle help is available if you prefer a ride.
  • Forest Lot: about 5 vehicles. It is also a two-minute-or-shorter walk down the knob, with shuttle pickup available if needed.
  • Knobstone Trailhead Overflow: up to about 25 vehicles. This is the primary overflow area and the main focus of our shuttle service during the arrival hour. Open the Knobstone Trailhead overflow map ↗
Watch for event parking signs before you even pull into the Wild Indigo driveway. If the closest area is full, signs will direct you clearly to the Upper Ridge Lot, Forest Lot, or Knobstone Trailhead Overflow.

Mobility support + shuttle help

The parking area directly beside Knob N’ Wood Retreat Center is intentionally held for guests who need the closest, simplest arrival route. If you need additional mobility support, please tell us ahead of time so we can reserve the right space and help plan your arrival.

Shuttle service begins with the arrival window and runs every 10 minutes throughout the arrival hour. Pickup is available from the Upper Ridge Sun Lot and Forest Lot, even though both are only about a two-minute-or-shorter walk down the knob. Our primary shuttle focus will be the Knobstone Trailhead Overflow.

Please arrive during the full one-hour window and plan to be completely parked, walked or shuttled in, and settled before the sound bath begins. Once the session starts, late arrivals may need to wait for a natural transition before entering.
