When conditions allow, forest atmosphere becomes part of the meditation.

A protected room where the full color experience can surround the treatment table.
What the Session Feels Like
Your experience begins with a gentle wellness conversation about how you are arriving, any sensitivities or health considerations, and your intentions for the session.
You remain fully clothed while resting comfortably with pillows and blankets available. Aromatherapy and guided breathwork may help you settle, followed by your choice of guided meditation, relaxation music, or Yoga Nidra.
Colored lights are positioned above or around the body in alignment with the seven primary Chakra centers. You may experience the complete spectrum, move through one color at a time, or rest longer with particular colors selected for your intentions.
The session ends gradually with quiet integration time. If you wish, you may share what you noticed and receive color intentions, affirmations, or self-reflection prompts to carry forward.
The Language of Color
These meanings are invitations rather than rules or diagnoses - a symbolic vocabulary for noticing what may be present for you.
Grounding, vitality, embodiment, life force, and connection to the physical world.
Emotion, pleasure, creativity, movement, and experiences held within the body.
Thought, confidence, curiosity, motivation, personal power, and the stories we tell ourselves.
Relationships, compassion, connection, tenderness, and love.
Authenticity, communication, self-expression, and speaking from the heart.
Intuition, inner wisdom, perception, imagination, and expanded awareness.
Soul purpose, unity, spiritual connection, oneness, and remembrance of a greater whole.
Make It Your Own
Color as a Reflective Practice
Chromotherapy, sometimes called color light therapy, uses colored light to create an immersive environment for relaxation, reflection, and sensory awareness.
Chakras are energy centers recognized within spiritual traditions, with each of the seven primary Chakras commonly associated with a color, area of the body, and aspect of lived experience.
At Wild Indigo, the two are brought together as a non-diagnostic wellness ritual. The experience is not about proving an imbalance or forcing something to change. It is an invitation to become still, listen inward, and notice how color, intention, sound, and sensation make you feel.
Before + After Care
Please arrive hydrated and avoid a heavy meal immediately before your session. Wear loose, comfortable clothing; light-colored clothing can reflect the colors beautifully but is not required.
Please tell your practitioner about light sensitivity, migraines, epilepsy or seizure disorders, eye conditions, recent eye procedures, pregnancy, medical conditions, or medications that may cause photosensitivity. You may pause or end the light experience at any time.
Afterward, drink water, eat something nourishing, and give yourself time to return slowly to the day. You may wish to walk the forest, sit near the pond, journal, or simply rest.
