An Annual Pride Fashion Show & Fundraiser in the Forest
The entire dam is the runway.
Nature-inspired, upcycled drag fashion in the middle of Wild Indigo's 111-acre forest. Queer artistry, chosen family, sustainability, and community care all get to walk the same runway.
Queer Teachers in the Forest
Rewild the Runway begins long before anyone steps onto the dam.
The daytime heart of this gathering is centered around queer teachers, artists, makers, growers, guides, practitioners, designers, performers, and knowledge-holders from across our Kentuckiana commUnity.
Come learn from queer teachers. Stay to make something wild. Gather around the table. Adorn yourself in the forest. Then meet us at the dam.
Our Annual Queer Summer Solstice Gathering
Rewild the Runway is also Wild Indigo's annual Summer Solstice gathering: a place to welcome the height of summer with ritual, creativity, movement, land, food, chosen family, and whatever sacred strangeness feels true to you.
LGBTQIA+ people deserve spiritual spaces where we do not have to make ourselves smaller, quieter, straighter, less mystical, or less weird to belong.
Come meditate beneath the trees. Make something with your hands. Walk the labyrinth. Dance. Pull a card. Wear flowers. Sit quietly by the water. Howl at the moon if the spirit moves you. You do not have to perform spirituality correctly here. You only have to arrive as yourself.

Blend your own cup from fragrant herbs and flowers while learning through scent, flavor, and plant connection.

Step into Wild Indigo's Aura Photography experience and leave with a colorful portrait of your energetic moment.
Floral Sun Mandala Labyrinth
A communal Solstice-season installation that grows throughout the day with flowers, grasses, petals, and gathered beauty.
Eat the Season
Seasonal food, edible flowers, herbs, summer produce, herbal drinks, and flavors that welcome the height of summer.
The Assignment
Create extraordinary fashion from what already exists. Think secondhand treasures from The Mustard Seed, discarded materials, seed pods, flowers, herbs, produce from the farm, and whatever else can be transformed into a LOOK.

Every Ticket Gives Back
Rewild the Runway is not a for-profit event for Wild Indigo. It is an annual fundraiser for our LGBTQIA+ commUnity.
Ticket revenue is designed to circulate directly back into the LGBTQIA+ commUnity. Ticket funds will directly compensate the LGBTQIA+ facilitators, teachers, artists, performers, and workshop leaders who shape and lead the day, cover necessary event expenses, and support organizations doing essential hands-on work for LGBTQIA+ people in Kentuckiana. Our goal is for sponsorships to cover as much production cost as possible so even more ticket and fundraising dollars can stay with queer people and organizations.

Pride, Rewilded
At its heart, Rewild the Runway is an annual Pride Month celebration of drag queens, kings, divas, queer artistry, chosen family, sustainability, creativity, and the LGBTQIA+ commUnity.
We want the forest full of queer art and ridiculous beauty while raising real money for the organizations doing the work every day.
Built With CommUnity
We want to build year one alongside the people already shaping queer culture in Kentuckiana.
We are especially inviting Queer Kentucky and the Le Moo drag production team into the conversation, along with local drag performers, queer artists, designers, sewists, upcyclers, stylists, photographers, DJs, queer-owned businesses, LGBTQIA+ organizations, vendors, and sponsors.
Nothing here is about parachuting into Pride. The dream is to build this with the commUnity.
