Wild Indigo Bodywork Studio · A Forest for Rest
Return to Yourself.
Bodywork at Wild Indigo is offered inside the living landscape of the forest we steward—a place where birds, wind, water, and trees become part of the invitation to slow down.
Your Choice of Setting
Leave a little extra time before or after your appointment to walk slowly, sit near the pond, breathe beneath the trees, or simply move through the day without rushing.
Weather permitting, receive bodywork outdoors beside Princess Leia's Pond and let the surrounding forest become part of the experience.
Our indoor studio is located inside Hummingbird Haven, our Farm-to-Table Bed + Breakfast cabin, for a quiet and protected retreat in every season.
Your Bodyworker
Aka: The Three-Headed Woo.
Therapeutic massage practitioner, longtime student of herbal traditions, essential oils, and Ayurveda—and, yes, Elise's human mother.
Her work centers experienced touch, fascia-aware therapeutic bodywork, chronic-pain support, nervous-system rest, and a mix of modalities that can be chosen individually or thoughtfully woven together.
Kimberly's relationship with wellness work began before massage school, through deep interests in herbalism, essential oils, and Ayurveda. In 1990, she graduated from Louisville School of Massage — Advanced Massage Therapeutics and began building the hands-on practice that has now spanned 36 years.
And because this is Wild Indigo, her first Reiki guinea pig was her newborn daughter. Some family traditions are apparently subtler than others.
Depending on the appointment and your preferences, Kimberly's work may draw from Therapeutic Massage, Lymphatic Drainage, Reflexology, Reiki, Shirodhara, Craniosacral-Informed Work, Fascia-Aware Bodywork, Aromatherapy, and Sound Support.

Light touch. Slow pace. Room for the body to soften.
A gentle, rhythmic bodywork technique intended to support relaxation and encourage the natural movement of lymphatic fluid throughout the body.
Lymphatic drainage is different from deep-tissue massage and is tailored to your comfort. Some guests choose it because they want a particularly gentle bodywork experience or a sense of ease and spaciousness without heavy pressure.
Warm oil. Slow rhythm. A quieter mind.
A deeply calming Ayurvedic practice in which a gentle, continuous stream of warm oil is poured over the center of the forehead as an invitation to settle, soften, and rest.
Shirodhara is an Ayurvedic treatment traditionally practiced by allowing a continual stream of warm, herbalized oil to flow over the forehead. Many people experience the repetitive warmth and rhythm as deeply meditative and restful.
At Wild Indigo, the practice is offered as a complementary wellness experience rather than a substitute for medical or mental-health care. You are invited to notice what the ritual feels like in your own body without needing to force a particular outcome.
A little more attention for the feet that carry you everywhere.
A focused practice using gentle, intentional pressure on specific areas of the feet—and, when appropriate, the hands—for a restorative session that can be received fully clothed.
The feet carry us through every season of life. Giving them intentional attention can create a sense of grounding, release, and whole-body relaxation.
Reflexology may be enjoyed as a standalone session or incorporated into a longer bodywork experience. It is a beautiful option for guests who prefer to remain clothed or want restorative touch without full-body massage.
Nothing to perform. Nothing to prove. Just room to receive.
A gentle energetic practice offered through light touch or with hands held just above the body. You remain fully clothed and are invited to rest comfortably in a quiet, consent-centered setting.
People experience Reiki differently. Some notice warmth, tingling, imagery, emotion, a meditative quality, or deep relaxation. Others simply experience a much-needed period of quiet. There is no correct response.
Reiki is not connected to any required religious belief and is not intended to diagnose or treat medical conditions. It may be used as a complementary wellness practice alongside appropriate medical or mental-health care.
A luminous place to get quiet and listen inward.
A gentle, non-contact wellness experience combining colored light, Chakra traditions, meditation, and intentional rest while you remain fully clothed.
Your experience begins with a gentle wellness conversation about how you are arriving, any sensitivities or health considerations, and your intentions for the session. Aromatherapy and guided breathwork may help you settle, followed by your choice of guided meditation, relaxation music, or Yoga Nidra.
Colored lights are positioned above or around the body in alignment with the seven primary Chakra centers. You may experience the complete spectrum, move through one color at a time, or rest longer with particular colors selected for your intentions.
At Wild Indigo, chromotherapy and the Chakra framework are brought together as a non-diagnostic wellness ritual. The experience is not about proving an imbalance or forcing something to change. It is an invitation to become still, listen inward, and notice how color, intention, sound, and sensation make you feel.
Gentle Care · Clear Boundaries
Our bodywork services are offered for relaxation, personal reflection, and complementary wellness support. They are not intended to diagnose, cure, or replace treatment from a licensed physician, mental health professional, physical therapist, or other qualified healthcare provider.
Appropriate draping is used during bodywork services. Professional boundaries are maintained at all times. Any sexual or inappropriate behavior will result in the immediate end of the session.
Tell your practitioner about injuries, allergies, sensitivities, pregnancy, recent surgeries, medications, medical conditions, or areas you want avoided. You may change your mind about touch at any point.
Sessions are available by advance appointment. Because each treatment requires thoughtful preparation and studio setup, appointment times are reserved specifically for you. Please review the cancellation and rescheduling policy before booking.
