Do I have to share my current location?
No. City-level current location is optional and is used only for local sky timing when you choose that feature.

I began this project—along with several other exciting projects still to come—while recovering from surgeries to help me walk again after battling paralysis and autoimmune challenges. For six months, I was literally unable to do anything except remain on bed rest with my foot elevated above my head.
When I began walking again after those six months, recovery was not suddenly over. For most of the following two years, even on the days I could walk, I still needed to spend at least a few hours of each day on bed rest—and sometimes I was back there for weeks at a time.
I would never pretend the pain was a gift. But bed rest created an enormous pause, and inside that pause came a little Cosmic Wink: if I had to be still, I could begin bringing together the work that had been waiting for me.
So I started compiling 17 years of information, saved research, personal notes, documents, educational trainings, independent study and mostly self-taught learning. I had been saving meaningful dates inside my own digital calendar for years—Western astrology transits, Chinese Astrology timing, numerology dates, lunar cycles and the moments I wanted to remember—so I could see them beside my actual appointments, plans and choices.
Gathering everything from different systems, translating it and entering it manually was overwhelming. Then friends began asking me to make calendars for them, too. For the past two years, I have been refining the framework, voice and process that could weave those layers together without erasing what makes each system distinct. Andrew has since translated that system into the engineering behind the Calendar Sister app.
More recently, a friend told me that she uses her astrology to help decide when her business makes announcements—and when she intentionally steps away from social media. I remember thinking: how many people would make different choices if they could actually see their meaningful timing beside their real life?
That was another wink. People did not need more scattered information. They needed a way to notice it.

I created the Wild Indigo Cosmic Calendar’s concept, voice, interpretive framework and calendar system. My husband, Andrew—an engineer, software developer and systems architect—took the framework and system I built and translated them into the technology that powers what comes next.

The technology calculates, organizes and layers the information. My framework determines what deserves attention, keeps the systems identifiable and translates the timing into language you can actually use. Every calendar is personalized and verified before delivery.
A NOTE FROM ELISE: WHAT THIS IS—AND ISN’T 🌙
I am not an astrologer. I am a collector, framework-builder and translator of timing information. For Western planetary calculations, our system uses the Swiss Ephemeris. Western Astrology, Chinese Astrology, numerology, astronomy and cultural teachings remain distinguishable within the calendar rather than being blurred into one unnamed source.
I have enormous respect for astrologers and the years of study, practice, lineage and intuition they bring to their work. The Wild Indigo Cosmic Calendar is not an astrology reading, and it is not intended to replace a personal relationship with an astrologer. I still highly recommend personal readings.
