What the Botanicals Contribute
Edible flowers - polyphenols + natural pigments. Many edible flowers contain anthocyanins, flavonoids and other phenolic compounds with antioxidant activity. The exact compounds vary enormously by species and color, which is why we do not make one universal medicinal claim for every batch.
Culinary herbs - aromatic oils + phytonutrients. Depending on the seasonal herbs included, the mix may provide small amounts of volatile oils, polyphenols and minerals. In garnish quantities, this is colorful whole-food nutrition rather than a therapeutic dose.
Real plant color. Purple, red, orange and yellow petals get their color from naturally occurring plant pigments rather than artificial dye.
