A sacred circle for creative recovery through daily Morning Pages, weekly Artist Dates, meaningful conversation, and gentle accountability.
Your Creativity Is Already Here
Creativity belongs to every person, even those who have been told they are not creative or have never thought of themselves as artists. This Creative Cluster invites you to discover the creativity already living within you, without needing experience, training, a portfolio, or proof.
Together, we will move through Julia Cameron's The Artist's Way, loosening old creative blocks and making room for curiosity, play, courage, and possibility.
How the Creative Cluster Works
Read & Reflect
Before our first gathering, read the Spiritual Principles and Introduction. After that, read one chapter each week and complete the assigned exercises.
Daily Morning Pages
Write three private pages of longhand, stream-of-consciousness thought every morning. Morning Pages are a required daily practice, but they are yours alone and are never collected or shared.
Weekly Artist Dates
Take one solo adventure each week in the direction of curiosity, delight, beauty, or play, replenishing your creative well through play.
Sunday Creative Cluster
Gather for 90 minutes of reflection, witnessing, encouragement, and accountability. We practice consistently without turning creativity into another measure of perfection.
Gather AroundThe Wild Indigo Table
Every Sunday includes wildcrafted tea from Wild Indigo's forest, seasonal food bites, and Sunergos coffee. These offerings create a warm arrival ritual and connect our creative practice to the season, the forest, and the generous spirit of a shared table.
Come Early and Stay Late
Wild Indigo Forest Farm is about 25 minutes north of downtown Louisville. If you’re joining us in person, you’re welcome to arrive early and spend time with the land before we gather. Hike the trails, swim in Princess Leia’s Pond when conditions allow, walk the Daffodil Renewal Labyrinth, wander through the forest, and explore more of what makes Wild Indigo W I L D.

The Artist's WaySacred Circle Guidelines
Guiding principles by Julia Cameron
- Creativity flourishes in safety and acceptance.
- Creativity grows among friends and withers among enemies.
- Creative ideas are children deserving protection.
- Creative success requires room for creative failure.
- Fulfilling our creativity is a sacred trust.
- Violating another person’s creativity violates that trust.
- Creative feedback should support the creative child rather than shame it.
- Feedback should build on strengths rather than fixate on weaknesses.
- Success grows in generous clusters.
- Another person’s good can never block our own.
- Art is an act of the soul and should be treated as such.
