Collection: Yoga + Pranayama (Breathwork)
Welcome to our ☀️ Solstice + Equinox Yoga Series!
Please arrive as early as 10:15 am to park, drink homegrown herbal tea 🍵 from our herb farm + and Sunergos coffee, set up your sacred yoga space, and frolic around the forest farm. After class, there will be celebratory bites and additional libations.
Prior to class, we will set our intentions for the Summer months ahead and pull a card from Indiana native Sarah Baldwins Herbal Healing Deck - to see what our Herbal Medicine of the Summer ☀️ months shall be!
If you feel called, please 🙏🏽 bring an object to place on the altar. This can be as simple as an acorn or even a photo.
This class will take place on grass! We holistically treat our grass with Saturday Lime as a repellant for Ticks. Additionally, our homemade Tick & Bug 🐛 spray will be available for guests. Please bring your own spray if you are allergic to the following essential oils: Cedarwood, Peppermint, Rosemary, Geranium, Citronella, Lemongrass, Clove
Lastly but the most important to read: We have three designated parking areas. The main lot is directly next to the Retreat + Nature Center and can fit seven cars. The upper ridge lot is a two minute walk down a knob to the Retreat Center. If you cannot do this walk due to mobility challenges, please email wildindigoforest@gmail.com and we will reserve a spot for you in the main parking lot or pick you up upon arrival. If both lots are full, our overflow lot is located at the the end of our Nature Preserve Trailhead and we will pick you up.
What to Bring:
- Yoga Mat
- Blanket to place under your mat
- Additional props for a relaxed class (pillows, blankets, blocks)
- A journal or place to write what presents itself
